The Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa Connect task force will meet Wednesday, March 2, at 12 pm at RVP~1875, located at 115 S Wilson Ave in Jefferson.
The Connect task force is focused on broadband expansion and connectivity topics. The Connect task force is composed of 22 members from all corners of the state. Also attending will be Lt. Governor Adam Gregg and Sandy Ehrig, co-chairs of the Initiative.
After a panel meeting and discussion, the group will tour some downtown projects that have received state funding, including Gravitate (a Rural Innovation Grant project), the Forge, and The Centennial building. This event is open to the public.
